However, exact times depend on the store's volume of repairs. along with the complexity of the repair. Joseph DiTucci guarantees the strictest quality standards at his Repair locations. For your convenience you can set up an in store appointment and your instrument will be worked on during that time slot....You can even sit in, watch and ask questions during the service.
No appointment is necessary. Just drop by our location. You can certainly make an appointment if you prefer–it might save you from waiting in line, but it is not required. For your convenience you can set up an appointment for a free consultation for in in person visit or online meeting.
If you're getting anything short of perfect performance from your instrument, it's Joseph DiTucci Guitar Repair time. Generally, it's a good idea to have a setup done two to four times a year, just to keep everything running smoothly. Rule of thumb, if the season is changing get ready for a setup.
How often you need to replace your strings depends on how often you play, climate conditions, type and quality of string, etc. Generally, every three to four weeks is about right, but if you play hard and often, you'll want to change strings as soon as they start to feel grungy or lose tuning stability.

Unless it's made of graphite, environmental factors definitely make a difference. Depending on where you live, the severity of the effects varies. Extremes of temperature or humidity, as well as drastic shifts between extremes, will take more of a toll and require more frequent setups...especially with an acoustic guitar
